4) Tottenham Literature Pageant (Nov 14-20)
Championing black writers and black narratives, this literature competition is now in its fourth 12 months, and the theme this 12 months is ‘therapeutic tales’. Attendees can count on to see award-winning playwright and creator Travis Alabanza, creator and broadcaster Lemn Sissay OBE (pictured), journalist and poet Bridget Minamore, in addition to many others.
Many of the programme is free, and the remainder is ‘pay what you’ll be able to’, because the organisers give attention to accessibility. There will likely be night talks all through the week, an in depth digital programme, occasions specifically for teenagers and workshops together with ‘pace pitch your guide’.
