Along with her professorship at Wellesley Faculty, Greene serves as an advisor to the ICA Boston for the 59th Venice Biennale presenting the work of Simone Leigh for the USA Pavilion in 2022.

She is the recipient of the Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in Artwork and Africana Research at Wellesley Faculty, the Woodrow Wilson Profession Development Fellowship, an artist residency on the Ucross Basis and the Richard D. Cohen Fellowship on the Hutchins Middle for African and African American Analysis at Harvard College.
