Sault Launch 5 Password-Protected New Albums

Four album covers arranged in a grid. Top row: orange cover with "11", green cover with "EARTH". Middle row: two black covers, one with "AIR". Bottom row: black cover with blue circle. These Sault new albums are password-protected.

Sault have launched 5 new albums in a password-protected folder, which they are saying will disappear in 5 days. The mysterious UK music mission—which launched an orchestral album referred to as Air again in April—posted a message on social media describing the albums as “an providing to God,” including that the password “is within the message”; it was signed off, “Love SAULT.” The folder is at present accessible on the band’s website; as soon as opened, it accommodates a zipper file with albums titled 11, Aiir, Earth, Right now & Tomorrow, and (Untitled) God.

Of the 5 albums, Aiir most intently follows the symphonic fashion of the April album. Earth mixes up to date soul with choral components and African drum polyrhythms, Right now & Tomorrow evokes classic ’70s funk and rock, and 11 and (Untitled) God undertake equally sprawling R&B sounds to the group’s first two albums.

Sault emerged in 2020 with these LPs, Untitled (Black Is) and Untitled (Rise). They adopted them in 2021 with Nine, which was accessible to stream, obtain, and purchase for 99 days following its launch. Final month, Sault launched the only “Angel,” which doesn’t seem on the brand new information. Although it has no official lineup, the group is known to revolve round Inflo, a producer who has labored with Adele, Little Simz, and Michael Kiwanuka.
