Singer-songwriter Veetchy lately dropped his brand-new single, “I.T.M,” by way of Locco Jazz Information, following on the heels of “Your Love,” “Cream&Suga,” and “Mild A Sage.”
Veetchy explains, “‘I.T.M,’ which is an acronym for ‘In The Mornin’” is a music that talks about desirous to be intimate with somebody you share a deep affection with. Once I heard the instrumental made by Okeobeats, I resonated with it loads and it was then that I knew I needed to write to it. The sensation the instrumental gave me was of ardour, love, and intimacy. To color a vivid image, the music by itself makes me consider the autumn/winter season, being cozy and cozy in a thick blanket with my lover whereas having fun with the early morning pleasures of a very good life. I hope that the viewers that listens to this music and loves it as a lot as I do.”
Initially from Douala, Cameroon, Veetchy’s ardour for music started early on, writing songs about happenings in his society in addition to his highschool crushes.
He grew up listening to artists corresponding to Manu Dibango, Richard Bona, Fally Ipupa, Toto Guillaume, and Brenda Fassi, which influenced his sound, together with Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Usher, and John Legend.
Later, he moved to California to check at School of the Canyons and Cal Poly Pomona, the place, when not learning or attending courses, he spent his time within the studio with engineer Darrius. In 2019, Veetchy started releasing his music. He’s carried out at The Viper Room and Adults Solely with Breaking Sound.
Mixing parts of AFrobeats, R&B, and pop, Veetchy conveys his emotions via his music.
