Dumisani Masondo, best known by his stage name King Dee, emerged as a rising star in the music and acting industries.
At 38, this Germiston resident’s journey from humble beginnings to the limelight was a testament to his passion and dedication to the arts.
His interest in the arts started at primary school in his hometown of Pomeroy in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
He used to act in church plays, was part of the school choir and sane isichathamiya (a cappella choral singing) with friends.
