A tragedy shook residents of Johannesburg, where 76 people perished in a fire that gutted a five-storey building in the inner city.
But a few streets away from the disaster scene is a famous eatery called Kwa Mai Mai market.
It is a place where people chill, drink, and order their buy-and-braai. While on the other side of the block, families of fire victims waited anxiously for authorities to brief them on how they should go about identifying the bodies of their loved ones, the Kwa Mai Mai market was abuzz.
