Cars are parked on the side of the road as East Herts Council's AMA Fest investigation continues.

East Herts Council has promised residents it is ready to take action against any event organisers who flout licencing rules.

The pledge came from the authority‘s executive member for planning and growth, Green Cllr Vicky Glover-Ward, in response to a question about AMA Fest, which brought chaos to the countryside around Bishop’s Stortford.

As a result of the African music event – the world’s biggest amapiano festival – residents were trapped and roads were gridlocked as revellers ditched their cars and walked to Silver Leys Polo Club…
