Singer Vinka has revealed that her song, Bailando, is being considered by the Recording Academy for possible Grammy nominations.
“I have been selected for Grammy consideration, meaning I am among the artistes that could be considered for Best Global Music Performance and Best African Music Performance. And the song they are considering is Bailando,” she said.
Vinka noted that because she chose to name her song after a Spanish word, bailando, meaning danicng, it had universal appeal.
