Originally from Nigeria, a Winnipeg Christian artist is sharing new music with deep faith and Afro beats.
“My first memory of where music started from when I was in the U.K.,” says Oboise Umobuarie. “We had to play a sequence on the drums. I was one of the only people who picked it up. I moved to another school and took up playing the piano, I taught myself. We moved a lot and I found myself in the church choir, which my mom encouraged me to be in.”
