
South African pop superstar Tyla has urged audiences and key industry players not to lump all African recording artists in the “Afrobeats box.”
This follows her announcement as the winner of the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which was held earlier this week.
