Amapiano DMV is a cultural collective bringing the energy, rhythm, and community of South African Amapiano music to Washington, D.C. Representing the team are Bernice Jere, founder and creative director; DJ Mobu and Aaron Fleming, resident DJs and dancers; Zakeeya Birchette, lead host; and Jasmine Smith, resident host. Amapiano Sunday is more than a party ? it?s a celebration of community, dance, and culture. As part of this finale, and in the spirit of gathering, the team is taking over the iconic Bullpen venue for the first time.
