
For Africans and listeners of African music, the Grammys have become a little more worthwhile. Sunday’s 68th edition will mark the third straight year a Grammy will be awarded in the Best African Music Performance category, strengthening the standing of popular music from the continent at the most prominent music award show in the U.S.
