Heat Afro Lounge restaurant in Cowley Road, which serves African food and drinks, applied to extend its opening hours until 1am from Monday to Wednesday and until 2am from Thursday to Sunday.
It also wants to play live music and serve alcohol from 12.30am from Monday to Wednesday and until 1.30am from Thursday to Sunday.
The restaurant stops serving food and drink or playing food at midnight, and closes half an hour later.
