What were some of the earliest influences on your sound and your journey into music?

I was born into the kwaito era,  that’s the type of music I listened to growing up. My father also influenced me a lot with the variety of music he would listen to. At home, we’d have jazz, we’d have fusion, my sister liked R&B, and my mother was a gospel person, so there was a huge variety. Then, as I grew older, came the evolving of the sounds I like.
