Scrumptious aromas and the candy sounds of jazz, soul and Afrobeat might be wafting up Centre Road, because the LIVE Soul-Jazz AFROBEAT program involves Luanda’s Restaurant, on Friday, November 18, at 8 PM.
The home band for the challenge is The GroovaLottos, a multi-Grammy nominated soul-funk band, with a present, rising hit Afrobeat/Caribbean single entitled “BOOM Bu-Cha”.
LIVE Soul-Jazz AFROBEAT is a month-to-month arts and tradition program of wonderful music and luxurious meals, introduced by Oversoul Theatre Collective/SKL in cooperation with Luanda’s; funded partly by an ARPA Grant from the Metropolis of Brockton; and is free to the general public.
