The four-part docuseries, titled The Kalawa Jazmee Story, is scheduled to air on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) and coincides with the label’s 29th anniversary.
It promises to take viewers on an immersive journey of the South African music industry and challenge viewers’ understanding of the local music business. Drawing from the label’s extensive archives, the documentary will unveil rare footage, unheard stories and intimate interviews with the artists and visionaries who shaped its history.
