STAUNTON — The Augusta County Historical Society with the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library invites you to an evening with retired Army Colonel Melissa Patrick on Monday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m.
Patrick will discuss the lives and contributions of local African-American soldiers who served in World War I. Patrick has spent many years conducting military history research, focusing primarily on the military service of both women and people of color.
