African music, passion and pride were all on display at the annual Music of the African Diaspora concert Saturday night in New Rochelle.
The concert at the Generations Church on Main Street not only featured the music of Africa, but teachings on the continent’s history as well.
“Culture is the one thing that allows a people to act as a collective one. It’s the glue that makes us one. So, during Black History Month, it is important to celebrate all the greatness of our culture,” said Elder Mark McLean….
