Nigerian singer, Michael Olayinka Adebayo, better known as Ruger has claimed that his senior colleague, Burna Boy introduced live band into Afrobeats performance.
Olayinka made this known while speaking in a recent interview with Billboard alongside BNXN,
According to him, before Burna Boy started using live band in shows, most Afrobeats artistes perform with DJ sets on stage.
He argued that the self-accliamed African Giants made live performance “enjoyable.”
