Celestine Donkor was born on May 19 in the Volta Region of Ghana to Mr. and Mrs. Akakpo. She began her education at St. Augustine Preparatory School in Abeka Lapaz, continued to Nsaaniya Secondary Business School in Kasoa, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Sociology and Information Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon. ​

Donkor’s musical career commenced in 2007 with the release of her debut album, Gye Wadea. Over the years, she has released several albums, including:
